Traffic boost

The Global Culture blog has had a very good couple of weeks, courtesy of much better rankings in the main search engines. In average, traffic from search engines is up 190% so here is the breakdown as to why that is:

• Google: listed in 3rd place is providing 63% of organic traffic. Up until now the blog had been listed beyond the first page of results, so we're riding the wave of "top results" for the first time


• MSN: listed in 1st place is providing 18% of traffic


• Yahoo: listed in 4th place is responsible for 11% of organic traffic

From the results of a modest ad place holder I've setup through Google AdSense, clearly it is still early to expect any results. I'm just curious as to how many people really dig through the ads.
